"Dandelions lost in the summer sky..."
My photography class is my favorite class this semester. How awesome is it to have homework to go out and shoot a roll of film? Awesome. We went up AF canyon a ways to get some cool shots a couple days ago, and today I spent my 3-hour class processing my film and developing it. I'm so happy I've made friends in that class, it's scary doing that stuff by yourself. I'm totally intimidated at picking photography as a major because of the expectations that come with it (can't you major in something like that because you love it and it's fun, and not have everyone expect your photos to be amazing? no. sorry) but for now I'm still just a general "Art" major. We'll see what happens.

M-I-C KE-Y M-O-U-SE!
Happy Birthday to Carly!
On Saturday we drove up to Logan to go to Carly's Mickey Mouse party, and as soon as we walked in she greeted us saying: "Mickey Par-ty!" in her little sing-song voice. We each got mouse-ka-tools and Carly informed us that all of her presents were "toys".
She got a cute little table and chairs from Nana and she carried them into the kitchen for her cake (which was awesome, by the way). As soon as she saw it she asked for a fork, and as soon as she dug in she asked for a plate. What a polite little 2 year old. :)

When she brought her plate to her little table, she looked up at Jason who was holding Nathan and said "Nathan! Sit!" Jason held him on the chair, and Carly dubbed that his seat for the rest of the night. She even offered him the whole tub of ice cream when he sat next to her. She pushed it over to him and waited for him to do something about it, but he must not have been very hungry just right then. Both of those little kids just get cuter every time I see them.
