"now i'm free.....free fallin'"

I know this is my 3rd time blogging in the last 2 days, (can you tell I've missed the Internet?) but since I have today off I wanted to post a couple adorable pictures. Weekend before last I drove down to Utah to go to Isaac and Carly's birthday party. Isaac turned 1 and Carly turned 3. I have no idea how it happened, but I didn't get any pictures of Carly. I did however, get a picture of Isaac with his cake. Every time you smile at him he grins and lets out the funniest chuckle you've ever heard. He didn't realize it, but when we smiled at him he kept laughing and digging his hands deeper into his cake. What a happy, fun little boy. He's so cute.

Also, Colie just sent me this adorably rockin' picture of Nathan.

Seriously, how cute are my nephews? I can't even handle it.

"reach down your hand in your pocket. pull out some hope for me. it's been a long day..."

Harvest. It has quite literally given me white hair. Sigh.
after the first day of harvest
3 weeks into harvest

In other news, conversations with Logan:

Me: Oh there are seagulls out in the field now! I've been watching them all morning.
Logan: Yeah, there are a lot, especially at sunrise and sunset
Me: I know, I keep seeing them swoop down and try to pick up potatoes, but they're too heavy so they drop them. It's so sad.
Logan: .....

HOURS LATER

Me: On my gosh, I saw so many mice today!
Logan: Uh, yeah...those weren't potatoes those seagulls were picking up...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Logan: I really don't know how you would survive without me. You would die.
And not because you were sad...

Me: I'm not totally helpless!!...will you open this water for me?

"mamma, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys..."

Ah. I can't tell you how good it feels to be typing on my computer. How long has it been since I last posted?! It feels like it's been ages. I haven't been on a computer in at least 3 weeks! Sigh. Mainly what that means is that I haven't known what any of you lovely people have been doing...I fully intend to take the time to blog stalk everyone just as soon as I get the chance.

As for me, I've been in Idaho.

 Working in the potato fields

Remember how awhile ago I blogged about the light-up cowboy hat I found? Well I've come across some more entertaining things since I've been in Idaho that I thought I'd share with you.
look at the little tater tots in diapers! hahaha

proper education at the middle school to not get too edjumacated

ripped dollar bills that have been scotch taped back together distributed from the bank

also, don't be offended if Idaho jokes pop up now and again. if you want line dancing at your wedding like the wedding we attended here, that's your prerogative...being amused is mine.
