"from the very first time I cast my eyes on you, girl"

Sorry for two posts in one day but if I don't finish catching up I don't know if I ever will!
Plus, I couldn't resist posting a picture of this adorable little one. ;)
Last weekend we drove up to Idaho to see Logan's new niece, Sofia. We were planning on going in October, but I really wanted to see her while she was still so teeny. She was only about 5 days old when we saw her  and she is precious! I made her this little hat on our way there. Its a little big, but I think it'll be about perfect once winter comes. :) Look at that little face. Don't you just want to cuddle her?

this is my "awww...I want a baaaby!" face. ha ha.

Also, Logan's sister Shanda colored my hair back to dark while I was there and I'm feeling like my old self again :)

Well that about wraps things up. I've been playing Front Desk Manager at my job this week as well as my usual job so I'm kind of tuckered out. I think it's time for a nice relaxing couple of days off... :)

"get up and get down and get outside...."

The last few weekends have been super fun and really busy so I'm gonna try and catch up on everything now...this might take a few posts. We'll start with just telling you that three weekends ago we went and took family pictures for this really cute family:

On our way home we drove up Kolob reservoir and stopped by the lake for some watermelon on the dock.

Things were going pretty great until we hopped back in the car and hit a tree a few minutes later. We're fine, but Gilligan was injured in the accident.  :( He needs a little work done, but he'll be okay.

Then two weeks ago, my old friend Matt that I met back in 2005-ish came up from Vegas with his girlfriend and 3 other friends and we spent the weekend having a blast. We went up to Zion and hiked Angel's landing. That's my favorite hike I've been on, it's gorgeous. The next day we hiked a little around my house, and cruised around in Gilligan.

It's been great living here and being able to drive to such majestic places in such little time. It makes life seem so much more beautiful when nature is so close by and everyone is enjoying it.
I'll finish updating the last couple weeks in another post :) I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!
