"I find it looks the same, but everything has changed..."

I've been mesmerized with this song the last few days. Mariqueen has such an angel voice. The further you get into the song, the more apparent it is. Listen to this with some great headphones, it makes a difference. She's fantastic.

"candy, candy, candy..."

**sorry for the 3 blog posts in one day!!**

Remember how I lost all the pictures on my blog and was so sad for the last few months? ....guess what?! I spent this week buckling down and going through the last, like, 4 years of my blog since the beginning of blog time and finding all the pictures associated with my posts and putting them back on. Whheeeew. It took a lot of work. and patience. I couldn't find some of the pictures, so I had to substitute for others or delete the post altogether, which was sad, but I am still totally relieved to have it relatively all caught up again. Hurray!

Also, I realized I never posted the pictures from my Bridal shower, or the wedding! I know, it was like, 6 months ago but I'm going to just post about them now and then backdate them to their rightful place later.

SO....here we go.

Melinda and Rebecca and my Mom planned my Bridal shower. They themed it after candy (could I love it any more?!) and it was amazing. Candy everywheeeere!

The invitations were so cute and I had a picture of mine somewhere but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

We got to make goody bags to take treats home in, and we played a hilarious game involving candy bars and the candy was delicious.

my gift from rebecca. ha ha

Nathan was all about the leftover candy. ha ha

Thanks to all who helped and all who came and all who brought presents! It was so fun!

"how sweet it is to be loved by you..."

Note from the blogger: Me: I wrote this blog all out and ready to post but it took me awhile to get my wedding pictures, and I never ended up posting it.  I'm just going to post what I wrote and you can all pretend it's 6 months ago while you read it. Ha ha.
So, it's almost getting to the point where I'll need to re-introduce myself on my own blog. I wish I could say I had good excuses, but...oh wait, I do have a good excuse this time! This is my first blog back as a married woman. Weird, right? I say it every once in awhile just for kicks because it still doesn't seem real. Also, I still haven't changed my name. I'm having a little bit of an identity crisis, alright? It's been my name my whole life!!

We got our engagement pictures back and Abbie Warnock did a fantastic job. Here is a link to the album where she uploaded them:

I'll post a few of my favorites here.

The wedding was up in Logan, Utah in the temple there, which is very castle-looking and cool.

the temple, the day of our wedding. taken by logan's cousin Emily

It was kind of the central spot to where both of our families are living so it made sense. The morning of the wedding it snowed...ha ha. It was funny because it wasn't funny because honestly...snow? come on now. Gimme my sunshine and warm weather! But it cleared up quickly so no harm done.

I had Vivian Williams come and do my hair and makeup. She was recommended to me by our engagement photographer and she was fantastic.

When we came out of the temple everyone was lined up and clapping and we got to walk on through them which was lots of fun. I felt like a celebrity.

Our friend Julie Hale took our pictures for us and we got some adorable ones. We took a couple pictures outside the temple, which was fun but also pretty freezing.

Yay! Big fluffy dress! ha ha.

Fun fact: We got our wedding colors from the little mermaid ride at California Adventure.

Then we had the wedding reception. It. Was. Awesome. Thankyouverymuch.  We pretty much had a little mermaid wedding, right down to our picture in Ursula's ball, (I totally didn't get any pictures of that!) Sebastian on the wedding cake, the sign in sheets, etc.
Check out our wedding cake. Logan made it, as well as the cake topper.

 Which...come on...look familiar?

ha ha. so amazing.

My Dad even walked me down the stairs to a version of the little mermaid wedding song that Logan composed

Then we had dinner, Logan surprise sang me a song he wrote for me, and we started the dance. I didn't realize he was going to sing, he just got up all the sudden and picked up his guitar. It was a little hard to hear with the crazy acoustics, but it was cute...and if you want to hear it, we recorded it so you can watch here:

first dance

Also, the cotton candy maker started up and so did the photobooth, which was way fun.

This is the only picture I got with my brothers all night:
ha ha. but i'm okay with that.

all the adorable nieces and nephews in their cute outfits

New Sisters!

Sisters!

We got an ice cream cake but got distracted and didn't take it out of the freezer in time so it was frozen when we tried to cut it. Which led to funny pictures like this...

Then we ran outside while people threw rose petals and cheered and I didn't fit into my car because I was too fluffy so Logan had to squish me in as best as he could. ha ha.

I guess that wraps up the wedding! After that we drove off and started our Happily Ever After...

oh! I also got my new ring! When we designed my ring we asked them to put stars in it, which they tried to do, but it was so tiny they didn't really show up. So we had them redo it and I got it just in time for the wedding :)

love it.
