"day after day....but anyway..."

Dear people who always talk about all your "drama" that just "follows" you everywhere,
Yes, I'm sure it does. At any point do you think you'll stop and think "huh...maybe it's me?"
I guess not. I mean that seems to be unfathomable.
well, good luck with all that. wake me up when its over.
peace

Dear Sandra Bullock,
Last night I finally saw The Blind Side. It was everything they said it would be. I loved it, and mostly because you were awesome. Just like always. You might wanna work on your narration skills a little, though. I'm not so sure about that accent you were goin' for in the beginning...
I am, and will continue to be,
-your devoted fan

Hey spring break,
Yay for you! I should be somewhere tropical and beautiful...I was hoping the weather would be nice this week, but I wasn't really expecting it. As I write, there are snowflakes coming down outside. We'll see what happens tomorrow, 'cause today just isn't cuttin' it. Still, thanks for comin' around. It's nice to have school off, and I guess you don't control the weather. I'll get to Mother Nature on that one.

relaxed and unskooled

Dear Jack Frost,

Nip This.

"going away to college"

this week has been a bunch of crazy business. i've been playing chauffeur for my little sister as my parents are hanging out in a bungalow somewhere on the beach, and i swear i panic at least once a day wondering where i'm supposed to be at what time to make sure i'm not missing class or making rebecca miss some after school activity or another. that girl has got one heck of a schedule. today i took her to SLC for a cheerleading competition... it was pretty entertaining to watch all the groups competing, and wonder who on earth came up with remixes to some of their music they danced to. her group did awesome, and it was fun to watch her being all peppy.
what i didn't know about today was that it was going to be all blizzardy as soon as i started driving. it made for an interesting drive up and back, especially with all the added construction going on at all times in this blasted state. fortunately, we made it home safe and in time for a no-parents-are-home-party. or...maybe just a congratulations-you-got-accepted-to-BYU party for my little brother. it's so weird he's going to college. isn't he like, 12 still?
anyway, we took a picture for you Mom, since you weren't around to take one. look what thoughtful kids we are. the little grandchildren weren't really into the picture taking thing yet, but they'll learn.
