Today is Curtis' birthday. Our birthdays are only days apart so you'd think i'd have pictures of both of us with a cake, but apparently not. Oh well, I still have super cute ones from when we were little. Happy Birthday big brother! Thanks for being so great all these years :)

Last night my little brother Justin graduated from High School. He tried telling me that he's an adult now because he's a graduate, but I don't think he's really the judge of that. On the other hand, I don't know who the best judge of such things would be, so it very well could be the person themselves. them self? them...whatever.

We went to Chili's beforehand and the little kids were absolutely adorable. I never end up getting very many pictures of Carly because she hides from the camera, (which is the opposite of Isaac and his big grins readily available if you even happen to glance his way. haha) so at one point I was trying to get her to look at me, and then out of the blue she gave me this super funny cheese face. She cracks me up.











the graduation itself wasn't bad as far as graduations go, and now Rebecca is the last one left...

first breath after a coma

 I really like the word superfluous, but I'm pretty sure I've never actually used it in a sentence. I'm also pretty sure that I would feel rather uppity if I did.
 a Chase Bank commercial on the radio said: ATM machine! it’s "ATM"!
‘ATM’ stands for ‘automatic teller machine’. when you say ‘atm machine’ it’s redundant! would you say ‘automatic teller machine machine’? i don’t think so!
 "I could care less!" (this phrase is misused all the time)
the phrase is "I COULDN'T care less!" because you care soooo little- you couldn’t possibly care any less than you already do! that’s how LITTLE you care!

don't hate me, i'm not the only one who notices these things. i'm merely passing along the awareness.

 if people tell you that you can’t wear jeans on a hike- you just tell them that cowboys wore jeans! and those guys did crazy stuff PLUS rode horses even! something to consider, right buddy?
 never use the word ‘buddy’ in conversation. it confuses peoples insides. 

Where did the phrase "how come?" come from? how does that even make sense?

 also- don't hold me to this- but i just may have come across the band that i would have as the soundtrack to my life. you know...the music i heard everywhere i went. at least for now.

"lost and found"

I've been packing and packing all my stuff up to move. It takes me forever to pack because I like going through all my stuff and then I'm there going "Oh my goodness, that's where this went!" "Oh, I haven't seen this in forever!" and I have to read every little thing I come across. It's not that I'm disorganized, I just have a lot of things that are packed away that I get to rediscover when I go through those packed away boxes. Then I throw some stuff away and keep the rest for the next time I move and happen to stumble across it again. So yeah, it's been a process. I found old letters I hadn't seen in years,

coal from my stocking this last Christmas (rude), my hard rock cafe cup collection from different places (I really have more than just one cup, I promise. haha. but they're all packed in boxes except this one 'cause the rest are glass)

and even some old pictures of me and my cousin Tami. (the one who just got married) Precious, right?
