"I'm dressed in a fashion that's fitting to the inconsistancies of my mood"

First off, and most importantly, it's been sunshiny and delightfully hot all week! Second, go see Inception. It was awesome. You can even go keeping in mind all the hype and it will still not disappoint. If it does, you're weird. Also, I would probably be skeptical if you ever recommended a movie to me after that. Okay, maybe that's not true but it was seriously really good.

Okay, now that that's out in the open- after the movie we wandered the mall a bit and I found the coolest backpack...possibly ever. Hurray! I want it real bad. The more I look at it the more I want it. How cool would it be to have a turtle shell backpack?! Super cool. It's okay you don't have to admit it. I know you love it too.

In other news, this morning we went to the Volkswagen show at Pioneer Park and it was pretty cool. Logan even made me a shirt for the occasion! Haha. He tie dyed this shirt, but it shrunk and didn't fit him so he took one of my shirts and patterned his after mine and sewed this one to fit me perfect. yay! I love it. Anyway, I was super excited and now I know where to bring all my shirts that don't fit! bahaha. The possibilities are endless.

Let's see, what else? Logan brought a fire pit down from his parent's last time we were in Idaho, so we've roasted marshmallows a few times and it's been delicious.

oh! also, I got paid, so my infomercial career is officially legit. Yessss!

A Boy Named Goo

"I saw you laughing..."

Have you ever watched a movie with someone who just thinks it is so much funnier than you do and they laugh and laugh so hard it makes you laugh too? The worst part is when that happens and you try and watch it later without them and realize it really isn't that funny after all...sad day. But I love it when I sit by people who laugh a lot. Especially in a movie theater when it's strangers making me laugh. It makes my whole movie.

"My Attendance Is Bad But My Intentions Are Good"

I have lots to blog about but I just haven't had the time. I know you've all missed me...or...been patiently awaiting my return. So, on to the updates- from the trivial to the exciting. Ha. And you thought I'd skip over the trivial. Not this time!

I might break this up into a couple parts. I feel like there's lots to say. so...Part One. June flew by. Logan and I are part of the Tucanos and the Benihana Birthday clubs so we both got free meals there during June. Benihana is one of those places where they cook your food in front of you and the cook does tricks and stuff. It was delicious, and they gave me birthday ice cream with a candle and sang and told me to make a wish. Then they took our picture and brought it to us. How cute.

I noticed a weird hot glue gun smell coming from my car a few weeks ago and I could not figure out where it was coming from until one day I noticed something stuck underneath. That's not too unusual since my car is so low, but upon looking I discovered this plastic water bottle, melted to the car. Eew. I tried getting it off but its really stuck on there, so now I just have a gross plastic y smell after I drive. Lucky me.

Let's see, what else? The other night I wanted to build a fort, so Logan and I transformed the corner of his living room into one. He put up a black light and then my toes glowed :) It's pretty amazing, and we left it up so we just have a permanent fort that we watch movies and eat in. hurray!

"Weeks Go By Like Days"

Blog Updates: Part Two. This message brought to you from the chemo center in SLC; where they provide cupcakes.

Quiz: What is my favorite part about not being able to sleep late at night?
Answer: Infomercials!

So, obviously I love infomercials and obviously everyone thinks they are ridiculous and I must be crazy and I've accepted that. Now. On to the good stuff- a week and a half ago or so I got to fulfill my dream of being IN an infomercial!!! I know. I told them it was my dream come true, and even they looked at me like I was nuts. It was for a lotus spike mat: Check out the spike on this thing:

Yeah. I know. I was laying down and sitting up on this mat over and over. It was pretty intense. They asked me if I was going to buy one afterward, but I wasn't offering them any guarantees. Actually, even though I didn't use it properly, my back did feel better the next few days. Maybe that was psychological. Hmm. Maybe it really works! Either way it was seriously a blast, and I'm still super excited about the whole thing.

Speaking of dreams coming true, I finally got to ride a horse! So, for the longest time I had this really vivid memory of riding on a horse when I was younger. One day I mentioned it in the car with my family, and my mom so rudely pointed out that I'd never actually been on a horse! I insisted, but she insisted right back that my whole memory of that event was falsified!! Just awful. I was heartbroken.

So the last two weekends in a row Logan and I went to Idaho.
The weekend before this one we celebrated the June birthdays in his family, and as we were searching for wrapping paper in the basement I discovered an old tiny cowboy vest and chaps that were Logan's when he was little. What? Oh, of course I put them on. Who wouldn't? They were awesome!

I wore them to the party.

Anyway, so this last weekend I asked Logan if we could pretty please ride their horses while we were there. I called to let my Mom know I was creating real memories, and she confessed that she actually did remember putting me up on the horse with her when I was 2! Of all the sneaky....jeez. All this time I thought I'd made it up! Well, anyway, we went and it was super fun. I loved it. I didn't take my camera out with us, but I got a couple pictures before we went out. We even got to race this huge sprinkler thing that was watering the crops on the way back in and as soon as I said "Ride like the Wind, Bullseye!" my horse went faster. She was so cool. (I only got a little scared when she whinny'ed real loud)I found an old picture of my Mom when she was 27 and put it with my picture, since I'm 26. Aw, look how cute we are.
We went up to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the 4th of July with Logan's younger sister Shanda and his parents. They had a cool fireworks show at the base of a ski slope and it was a lot of fun. While we were there we went into a candy store to load up for the show, and I saw these fudge things decorated all cute and thought "now where have I seen these things recently?!" And then I remembered Sarah just blogged about how she went to Jackson Hole and saw them! I laughed and told Logan and he said, "Oh great, now you're really blog stalking your friends!" ha ha. Stalk stalk.

I guess that's about it. Phew! I've gotta get on top of this blogging thing so we're not all overwhelmed.

"My Heart Gets Broken So Easily, So Just Be Gentle With Me"

I'm a little bit in love with this song/video
