"The end of fear is where we begin...The moment we decided to let love in"

Yay for almost being done with another semester of school! I only have two classes left that are still going but I have them a couple more times. Boo. For my digital imaging class we had to turn in a series for our final project. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do mine on, and in the end I figured love would be the easiest to do last minute. I ended up pulling an all-nighter shooting pictures and editing them but in the class critique my teacher said I'm one of the only perfect grades he gave for the final. hurray! It's nice doing something I really enjoy doing and having it pay off. Here are a few of them:

That was totally my favorite class this semester. And now....I'm ready for summer :)

"she was...an american girl"

The Goo Goo Dolls are coming to Vegas the day after my birthday in June. Um...pretty sure that means I see a roadtrip in store in the future. Please feel free to come along. :)

Okay, I have two stories today. As most of you know, my Dad always wins stuff from these random contests he enters online while he's supposed to be working every day. Awhile back he gave me this coupon for $10 at the Dollar General that he'd gotten. I didn't really know where there was one of those around here, but yesterday I went to Provo and found one.

I kinda wandered through when suddenly I noticed they had an "as seen on TV" isle! I was pretty stoked. I am an infomercial lover after all. So as I was looking at all the choices I told Logan: "oh man...if I find the EZ-Cracker here, I am so buying it!" I kept looking around and was just about to leave when a little box caught my eye. Lo and behold: The EZ-Cracker! (Please refer to previous post) I am now a proud owner!
Maybe I'll make my own infomercial when I try it out...

As for my next story/embarrassing moment yesterday...Ahem. My mom called and said their basement flooded, so Logan and I headed up to help them move some boxes and stuff. When I got there and went looking for my Dad I found him tearing apart boxes, and he stuck this sticker on my shirt:

I kinda laughed and forgot all about it. Honestly, it's not my fault. I know its big, but how often do you really pay attention to whats up by the collar/shoulder of your shirt? So after awhile we were getting hungry and left to go to Tucanos. MMMmmmmm.

My goodness that place is meat heaven. I'm still full. Anyway, the waitress was talking to us when we were seated, and she was explaining how everything works there and whatnot. Then she paused and in all seriousness asked me earnestly: "and then, the 'do not disturb' thing, do you want me to leave you alone? I can just drop off your food and not bother you..." I was horrified. It's a good thing for me I don't turn red when I'm embarrassed. I stumbled through a "oh that. hahaha. my dad put that on me..." as I hurriedly ripped it off and tried to act casual. *sigh* thanks, Dad.

"You make me happy, whether you know it or not..."

It's snowing outside, so I decided to write a post about things that have made me happy this week.

1) Playing ball with little Nathan and having him grin at me with the funniest expressions ever
2) Seeing little Isaac liftin himself up. so cute.
3) Carly talking about how she got tweety from the "ice meam truck"
4) Michelangelo creepin up in stealth mode
5) Getting a new Home Teacher with my old BFF HT and having them come visit us for hours cracking jokes and helping us do whatever we want

6) love spell lotion
7) Johnny going on a new tour
8) Seeing the disposal being called an "insinkerator"
9) reconnecting with old BFFs and laughing til my cheeks hurt
10) getting to be a mermaid for class

"digital love"

On Tuesday my cousin Tami got married. She is 2 weeks and 2 days younger than I am, and we grew up taking vacations and playing together. She married a guy from Scotland, so the guys wore kilts to the wedding. It was a lot of fun hearing them all talk with their thick accents...nevermind the freezingness that Tuesday brought with it. Oh, well. It was still pretty. Plus, I got to play hairdresser, so I had fun. :)

oh! and I FINALLY got a video of Jared doing his Elephant song! :)

"good apollo, i'm burning star"

Happy Easter from Michelangelo!

Isn't he just the cutest thing ever? I know. He's the best.

I have an unlucky number of followers as of right now. I'm so happy to have people following my crazy blog, but I have to admit the number is making me uneasy. I can't help it. 13 is just bad luck! I knew this day would come.... I've had my eye on that #12 for awhile. Welcome, new follower! Sorry you had to be 13.

also, my poor hand! I burned it real bad two days ago, and it looks wicked today, still. Boo. I guess I have my own Tyler Durden mark now. Hm, I doubt anyone will get that reference. Oh well. Point of the story: ow! It hurts. I'm ready for it to go away now.

"where the streets have no name..."

last night i went to the gallery stroll in provo. never heard of it? me neither. apparently it happens on the first friday of every month. logan got asked to play at one of the galleries, so he set up there and then my roommate kari and her friend pete showed up. we discovered there was a treasure hunt you can do, for "great prizes!" so i told them we had to do it. you go around to all these different places, and find one of the pictures on this card you get, and then look at the art

and eat whatever snacks they have there (cookies, brownies, yummy breads, etc) and then get them to hole punch your card when you find the piece of art you're looking for, and then you carry on your way. i went into all kinds of places i've never been before. a tattoo shop, muse music, an antique store, and so on. we had a lot of fun despite it being freezy and windy outside.
afterwards we met back up with logan and caught the end of his show, and then pete challenged us to a game of guitar hero, so we rocked out for a couple hours. yay for discovering new activities in provo. :)
