"Zippity Doo Dah, Zippity A! My oh my what a wonderful day...."

We went to DisneyLand last weekend for Halloween! It was so much fun, and Nathan was adorable. I got to have him ride with me on It's a small world, and he sang along and danced along and it was cuter than you can imagine.
He brought along a Thumper bunny and while we were there he got Woody and Buzz toys. A little while later I heard him introducing them in the hotel room: "Look Humper, I got a new Buzz!" ha ha. After the day at Disney I asked him who he saw there. He told me "I saw Woody, and he beeped my nose!!" and then busted up laughing. Which is hilarious anyway because he has a gruff funny funny laugh. :)
It was a super fun day.

I want to go to DisneyLand! Zippity Doo Dah!"- Nathan

I was up kind of late the night we got there finishing up these hats and getting the ears done. Anyone who came in the hotel probably looked at Logan and I just sewing away in the lobby a little funny. But it was totally worth it because all day we had SO many people complimenting them and asking where we got them. We were cute :)

hurray for teacups!

We like twirling super fast :)

Splash Mountain!

Logan and I also hopped over to California Adventure and went on the new Little Mermaid ride. It was incredible. My mom made fun of me afterward because when my Dad asked how it was I said "I feel like my whole life has led up to this moment. I got teary eyed. It was amazing." I stand by that statement... It was super cute, and I love the little mermaid. Obviously.

Also, the characters at Disney had on Halloween costumes. How cute is that? I love Disney.

"Tender lumplings everywhere- Life's no fun without a good scare..."

This past weekend was a packed one. We went to Idaho for Logan's nephew's birthday/halloween party, and his niece's baby blessing. I wish I had a picture of her in her dress, it was just about the most precious thing you've ever seen.

We were supposed to dress up scary for the Halloween party, but Logan and I didn't bring anything scary so we ran out to the store beforehand to get some stuff. When we got to the party his little 2 year old nephew Jonah looked over at him and kept saying "no!" in a very concerned voice while walking backwards and shaking his head. He finally started crying and Logan tried to make him feel better by pulling up his mask so he could see it was just him, but instead it made Jonah call him "Bad Ogan!" every time he saw him the rest of the trip. Ha ha. It was sad but had pretty funny results.

Anyway, we had fun and it was only slightly chaotic because there was so much going on. I got lots and lots of baby holding time with little Sofia, so I had a fantastic weekend :)
Oh...except...in the midst of all this my phone died.  It suddenly just wouldn't turn on anymore. On the way back to St George we stopped at the apple store in SLC, where the guy told me he didn't know what was wrong with it and I told him so much for them being "geniuses". Anyway, I brought it home and messed with it yesterday and re-unlocked it and re-jailbroke it and today it works again! iHappy. :)

"Goin' to California with an achin' in my heart..."

I almost moved to California a couple days ago. That is to say...I went to California for the weekend and almost didn't come back. I figured I could send for my car and Michelangelo and all would be okay. Sounds logical, right? I mean, in Katrina move-around-whenever-you-feel-like-it logic. Anyway, I ended up coming back but I can't wait to go to California again.
Logan's sister and brother in law and their two adorable kids invited us to go to Laguna Beach for the weekend. We met up with them in Vegas and left early Saturday morning and spent the day building sand castles and semi-playing in the water. It was fantastic.

We went to this amazing restaurant for dinner and I'm kind of sad that i'll probably never be back to go to it again because it was sooo yummy.
The next morning dark and early Logan and I set out for the beach. It was a little chilly, and I remembered something my boss introduced me to last week...so we walked down a mile or so and found the nearest Starbucks...

and we found my newest favoritest drink. Caramel Apple Spice Cider. It is soooo good. Seriously. Go get one. I promise you will not regret it.

See how happy that face is? There are rare times you'll find me that smiley at 7am. Mmmmmm.
Yum.

"easy come, easy go, that's just how you live..."

In other news, when I lived in Florida growing up I had a super awesome seminary teacher named Sister Whitcomb. I'm pretty sure my first year in seminary was her first year as a teacher and she was amazing. I just loved her, and later on we worked together on projects for girl's camp, etc. It sounds kind of cheesy but she always made me feel like she really cared about me and I loved being around her. She had a son a little older than me, and a son my age that was in my class, too, and a younger daughter named Amy....who also happens to be an awesome singer.
I hadn't seen Sister Whitcomb in years until about a year and a half ago...? maybe? when I ran into her at the Orem Mall and she was on her way to California with Amy, who was competing...She was on "the sing off" on tv awhile back with a sweet blonde mohawk. Aaand apparently she's back this season, because I got on my facebook and my news feed was flooded with people who were talking all about her group, "Delilah". The judges love her, and she is so adorable.
So, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet: this article gives her a sweet shout-out and the video of her singing  :) http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/the-sing-off-season-premiere-recap-heart-and-soul-win-out-20110920

"from the very first time I cast my eyes on you, girl"

Sorry for two posts in one day but if I don't finish catching up I don't know if I ever will!
Plus, I couldn't resist posting a picture of this adorable little one. ;)
Last weekend we drove up to Idaho to see Logan's new niece, Sofia. We were planning on going in October, but I really wanted to see her while she was still so teeny. She was only about 5 days old when we saw her  and she is precious! I made her this little hat on our way there. Its a little big, but I think it'll be about perfect once winter comes. :) Look at that little face. Don't you just want to cuddle her?

this is my "awww...I want a baaaby!" face. ha ha.

Also, Logan's sister Shanda colored my hair back to dark while I was there and I'm feeling like my old self again :)

Well that about wraps things up. I've been playing Front Desk Manager at my job this week as well as my usual job so I'm kind of tuckered out. I think it's time for a nice relaxing couple of days off... :)
