"With all my might I scored a strike my friend you wouldn't believe..."

I went bowling tonight at the Miracle Bowl. It might've been a miracle...the last time I went bowling was in 2006. (I went to Fat Cats with Robyn, who always seems to be going bowling.) I'll tell you what wasn't a miracle though...I'm pretty sure my score was about the same as the little kid's in the next lane over. I kept wanting to use the bumpers and that cool contraption you roll your ball down, but they weren't taking me seriously. Oh, but look at my stylish bowling shoes. I got my own on a bet a few years ago, but I've only bowled and gotten to wear them a few times. I wanted cool ones that actually look like vintage bowling shoes, but I guess you can't just buy those at the alley. Rude.

I don't remember ever going bowling before I moved to Utah. Maybe once. As soon as I got here it was suddenly the thing to do. I don't know why that is...maybe because there isn't much else around this town.
I'm definitely a better Wii bowler, is all I have to say. I'm bowling straight strikes on the Wii, and straight up gutter balls in the alley. It also depends on the music, though...I always bowl better when better music is on. I kept stalling during the commercials and the dumb songs. Actually, one of my only, say, 2 strikes was during "Welcome To The Jungle." Unfortunately, it was during Robyn's turn. That would happen. Also, on a side note: my favorite part about bowling is that when you're holding the ball your hand makes the "rock on" gesture. Heh heh...

When you bowl with your kids, you get to use bumpers! Even then, sometimes my kids have a better score!

You know, Curtis is not a huge bowling fan either! I don't mind, but my score is pretty pathetic :) Maybe it's a good thing Wii bowling doesn't reflect real life as nobody would want to play! ha ha
