"take me on a trip I'd like to go somewhere..."

I guess it is about time for another update.

Robyn is now married, and I did her and her sister's hair for her wedding. Hm..I don't have any pictures of that, but I'm sure I will later. The day was hectic and sunny and California was gorgeous. I'm really impressed with whoever her photographer was- that guy was jumping in bushes and rolling through the grass to get the shots. Who knows how the pictures turned out, but at least I was super entertained by him all day. They also had a photo booth set up at their reception, which was a cute idea.

California was awesome. We got there on Tuesday and went to Sea World on Wednesday, which was terrifying- obviously- because I can't handle sea creatures. The shows were very cool though, with cheesy dialogue from the crews and silly things like penguins that I liked to create dialogue for as they did funny stuff. I was alright for most of the day until we went in the shark exhibit, and then I got a little panicky. I held it together though, and by the end Logan even got me to pet one of the stingrays. They were so weird, they just kept swimming up like little dogs waiting to be pet. They were very slimy and rubbery and soon after I stood cleansing my arm with soap and water for awhile. The sea turtles were ginormous and my other favorite alongside the penguins and puffins and...some other funny little creature that I can't remember the name of.
On Saturday we went to Disneyland, and it was the perfect day. Sunny and hot, just the way I like it. So there we were, strollin over to the entryway of Frontierland, when I look up and freeze. Oh, hello Travis Barker! What the...and then suddenly our eyes locked and I realized I was walking past one of my favorite drummers of all time..."hi" I said coolly, casually nodding my head at him. He smirked and gave me the "what's up" nod in return and pushed his stroller past me and around the corner. .....!!!....I don't think that has been appreciated nearly enough for that experience by everyone. How cool is that?! Of all the people for me to see, I mean, come on! *sigh*...it was wonderful.

The place we stayed at was sooo cool. When you walked out the back doors you were on the sand of the beach in Oceanside. It was like heaven. You could hear the waves all night and wake up to them crashing on the rocks right beside you. It was so pretty.
I made friends with a Hindi lady while I was in California that would greet me and say "Ello Katreeena! Katrina famous Hindi heroine, very beauuutiful, everyone love. Lots of Hindi movies...oh. Today your hair look different. Today you look American, yesterday you look Hindi with the braids. Yes, yes, Katreeena." She was amazing. I should've gotten a pic with her. Oh! Second awesomest thing of Disney- we got our own boat on It's a Small World! The lady just did it to be cool, even though there were a bunch of people waiting. It was amazing, that's totally my favorite ride at Disneyland. Not so much at Disney World, but definitely in California. Plus, they added Ariel and Flounder in it singing along, so how could it not be my favorite?! It was awesome. On the way home we stopped in Vegas and ate at Margaritaville for dinner with Logan's sister and her husband and kids and then hung out. I love vacations.
