30 day photo challenge: day 5

Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory.

This post pretty much goes along with my last post, and I thought about just switching titles and having a hypothetical thing be my perfect day, but I think I can pull up some favorite memories.

When I was little, every summer vacation my parents would load us up in the van so early in the morning it was barely light outside, and we'd travel the world. Okay, maybe not the world, but at least the U.S., and Canada a couple times. They'd have a trunk full of books for us to read on the drive, which was always super exciting to see what they got, and we'd hit all the cool tourist spots. They'd even print out a day by day calender for each of us to have. It was awesome. Here we are at Mt. Rushmore. Be jealous of my super sweet shades.

Another favorite memory- EFY when I was finally old enough to go in Florida. These were my two best friends, Katie Johnston and Jenny Smith.

Also, taking a birthday present road trip to Seattle to see the Foo Fighters acoustic show in the coolest venue ever. BJ and I even got to sit super close because there were some empty seats a few rows in front of us. I didn't own a camera at the time, so I don't even have pictures :( , but I will share video because it was so amazing. Best show I've ever been to.

what else? Holding a starfish.

oh! and the time when Melinda and Jason and I went camping in the wilderness and the sirens starting going off and I was pretty sure we were about to die, and we could hear coyotes getting closer and Jason was the only one who had cell phone reception but he wouldn't go get his phone!! I was pretty sure we were goners.

and lastly, Logan telling me he loved me for the first time in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland. Within 5 minutes of this picture-
Ha ha...that's a story he'll probably never forgive me for, but it's still one of my favorite memories.
