I just looked down at my paper towel and it has "There's a whole lot to be thankful for" printed across it with butterflies and flowers. Has Bounty always been this inspirational or is this a message somehow directed at me? I am thankful for lots of stuff. Like this delicious squeeze-it I'm squeeeeezing the fun out of right now. (You're not allowed to drink one unless you say that. It's the rules.)
You know how sometimes little kids fall, and then they look around before they decide on a reaction, to see how you're reacting? And then they choose to either shake it off or cry? I always thought that was kind of funny, and then I was thinking about it today, and I totally still do that.
The other day I had a guy come in to work and just be completely rude to me. He got all heated when I told him he owed some money and demanded my manager and refused to pay and basically just belittled me to the point where one of the personal trainers heard it going on and came to my side to help. By that point the guy left and the trainer just told me he'd heard how crazy the guy was being and asked if I was okay. I had been fine up to that point but as soon as he was there I teared up. Don't worry, I was cool and casual and played it like normal so he was none-the-wiser. phew. close call.
Does this happen to anyone else or am I just taking that 'be like unto a little child' thing way too literally? oh well.
On the bright side, I always have Marcel to cheer me up when I need it.
I decided to dye my hair red. Bring out my inner Ariel and all that.
I tried it once and it didn't even tint my hair. So I decided it needed lightened before I tried again. That resulted in that sort of 90's bleached hair guys used to have...you know the look?

so afterwards I put the red on it and it went crazy translucent red that didn't even really look like hair anymore...unless you're the singer of paramore. or kurt cobain.

i'm only including a half picture of my hair then because I don't wanna scare anyone too much.
So that was that and once again, I held up alright until Logan came around the corner and then I might've cried a little. Something about 'what have I done to my hair?!' and 'just bring me the razor, it's time to shave it all off.' and such. dramatic? you didn't see my hair in person.
anyway, we put brown dye on top of it and fixed it and now it is fabulous and I get comments on it all the time . Moreso than any other hair color I can remember. Probably because it's not pink or blue or something most older people disapprove of. One old lady even leaned in over the counter the other day and told me "red heads have more fun." ha ha.
but its way more natural looking and I feel much more like Ariel now. :)
