Hurray for August! I am feeling so much better this month, and it's awesome. I still get sick but it comes in waves rather than all day every day/night. I'll take what I can get!
Because I've been on the mend I've been getting a bit crafty over here this week. Mostly with our baby Shmoopie in mind. (we've been calling baby that since pretty much the week we found out about it, when we saw the name in a "popular names" baby book. Ha ha.)
These pictures were all taken on my phone, but you get the gist.
I made baby a hippie/surfer blanket:
Then I decided to make teeny little hats for shmoopie to match baby's daddy:
A frog and a viking:
This is probably the first winter of my life I'm looking forward to. :)
Yesterday I saw a few things on Pinterest and decided to try my own versions with my own twist, and the results were a new picture for baby's nursery:
and some new wall art:
I'm keeping my fingers crossed I keep feeling better...I'm pretty fond of it. :)
