My posts seem pretty sporadic lately, and this one is almost a cop-out, but I have another list: Things I Like edition. Feel free to add your own, I'd love to hear them.
- I like when I am walking around on a really hot and humid day, and I walk past a store that has their AC blasting and I get blasted with the nice cool breeze. I also like being blasted with heat from a store on a really cold day.
- I like when the song is so good that I have to stay in the car and sit in the parking lot or the driveway and just let it finish.
- I like when a song drops all the instruments and the singer keeps singing.
- I like smelling books before/during reading them.
- I like it when a guy that I am going on a date with gets to my house and seeing him for the first time that night as I open the door.
- I like getting real mail.
- I like the lines in the carpet from vacuuming.
- I like whistling, even though I'm not that good.
- I like it when people know me well enough to give me music I like.
- I like going places in the middle of the night, when there's no one else outside.
- I like when someone texts me something that makes me laugh out loud.
- I like when music gives me goosebumps.
- I like when I look over at my turtle Michelangelo and he's just looking back at me.
- I like it when I smell the rain before I see it.

1.I like the smell of an open jar of Nutella (I’ll also eat the whole jar, given the chance).
2.I like to participate in and win tasty verbal spats and/or debates.
3.I like late night rounds of scrabble (win or lose).
4.I like the smell of crisp autumn air (Utah’s includes a hint of pine and dust).
5.I like a good cup of tea (usually mint or hazelnut, with a couple of cream shots; hold the sugar).
6.I like murder mysteries and police procedurals. They make me feel smarter than I actually am.
7. I enjoy a well written soap opera (not day time, prime time).
8.I like to write essays even when I’m not in school (sick, but true).
9. I like to watch things blow up (why are destructive tendencies so primal?).
10. I like the sound of a bluegrass mandolin more than any other instrument (the banjo’s a close second).
i like a lot of these things. and josh likes the lines from the vacuum...but he's ocd haha. i might do a post like this soon, its a good idea :]
I definitely agree with you on the book. Nothing like opening a brand new book and hearing that crack.
I like dressing up to go on a date.
I love those unexpected moments of pure joy that I have every so often with my kids, I'm sure it's what Heaven is made of.
I love baking something extra yummy and then giving it away.
I love the way the water feels when I jump in the pool for the first time of the summer.
